Facebook allows people to add you to a group without your permission. I find this annoying since it leaves me open to wall spam. People who haven’t changed their email settings find it especially irritating, because in a prolific group they can find themselves receiving a lot of email. Some folks use these groups for marketing which makes it all the more annoying. Fortunately, it is very easy to leave a group.
1. Hover your mouse over the group until you see a pen icon.
2. Click on the pen and a box shows with the options. One option is leave group. Click on it. You will be asked to confirm your choice. That’s it.
