An email is floating around in which the hacker informs you that he has hacked all of your accounts and you need to pay him money. The email looks like it came from your own address, which is enough to convince people that they have been hacked. The reality is that you haven’t been hacked. The person has just spoofed your email address. This makes it look as if the email came from your account. It didn’t. You can just delete the email and ignore it.
This is the email I received. Yours may be the same or slightly different. I left all errors intact.
