I wanted to let you know about two more items you might want to check in order to control your privacy on Google.
The first is the Google Dashboard. To access it log in to your account and go to https://www.google.com/dashboard/b/0/
Here you will find a list of your various accounts.
The second is Ad personalization. Again, be sure you are logged in and go to https://www.google.com/settings/u/0/ads/preferences/?hl=en
You will find a video about how Google is and will be personalizing the ads you see. If you would like to opt out, you will find the option to do so here.
