My partner, Ellen Freedman, posted about a security hole found in all of the portable Apple devices, just as she is heading out to buy one. Ellen also notes that she knows a few people who stay away from technology out of fear.
First, I agree, as Ellen writes, security holes happen, Apple will fix it, life will move on.
Second, my memory is called to college when we learned about some terrible computer virus. A friend of a friend decided the way to keep his files safe was to take his floppy disks, put them in a box and tape the box up. True story.
