My programmer is trying to persuade me to move to .
net from PHP. I have always disliked the idea because of
the expenses. But he’s tryiong none the less. I’ve been using WordPress on various websites for about a year
and am worried about switching to another platform.
I have heard very good things about blogengine.
net. Is there a way I can import all my wordpress posts into it?
Any help would be really appreciated!

I can’t say I can offer any help. I have never used blog engine, and aside from security issues with WordPress (which can be managed) I am happy with it as a platform. I imagine there must be a way to do a conversion though. Here is a post on the subject. http://cloudiview.wordpress.com/2012/03/20/how-to-export-wordpress-posts-to-blogengine-net/

Howdy would you mind letting me know which hosting company you’re working with? I’ve loaded your blog in 3
completely different browsers and I must say this blog loads a
lot quicker then most. Can you recommend a good hosting
provider at a reasonable price? Cheers, I appreciate it!

I use Blue Host. It work very well with wordpress and I recommend it to my clients.
